On materiality

Materials have always been important in my work and new developments are taking me further into using line to draw three dimensional forms whilst considering and exploring different metals and various natural materials, their form and qualities (see also Standing stone).

In these sculptures and drawings I look at using the minimum necessary to define a form in space - whether through the minimum of material or the minimum of lines.
