I am inspired by theories of quantum physics which suggest that everything in the universe is more space than matter, and even the matter which we perceive is essentially an expression of energy. I have used copper wire (an excellent conductor of electricity) as lines of energy ‘drawing’ the forms.
The copper wire sculptures also form the basis for a series of prints which use light as a drawing medium.
