C | Pat Kinnear

I enjoy painting and interpreting landscapes in watercolour, acrylic and oil. I enjoy visiting exhibitions and have a weakness for art books! It is impossible to decide on influences, but I love the work of Edward Wesson and Edward Seago, also the “en plein air” work of Ken Howard, being just three of the artists I admire among so many others.

Throughout the summer I sketch and paint small studies. These can form the basis of future paintings, but often they are just for practice and the pleasure of being outside on a summer's day.

I have run courses for adults which I have found hugely rewarding. Over the years, I have held several exhibitions, both solo and with Meg Pike, also a SNA member.
